Founded in 2021, Gray Slate is backed by a skilled field crew with over 20 years of combined experience. Our founder’s journey in the industry began the summer before sixth grade, laying the foundation for a lifelong passion in hardscaping.
Our crew has extensive experience installing landscapes, hardscapes, and natural stone for both residential and commercial projects.
Gray Slate is fully licensed, bonded, and insured to operate throughout Illinois. We are an incorporated business in good standing with the State of Illinois.
Our team handles all necessary plans, permits, inspection scheduling, and sourcing of materials. Once completed, we break ground and begin building your space ! We make sure to update you with progress, changes and any possible conflicts.
Our contract pricing is all-inclusive, with no hidden fees or unexpected charges. Any modifications to the agreed scope of work or contract value are discussed with homeowners in advance. All changes require a formal change order to ensure transparency and prevent unforeseen costs.
