Gray Slate was founded in 2020 and consists of a field crew with over 20 years of combined experience.

Gray Slate meets all requirements to work throughout the state of Illinois by being bonded, insured and licensed. We are also incorporated and carry a good standing with the State of Illinois.
Our team handles all necessary plans, permits, inspection scheduling, and sourcing of materials. Once completed, we break ground and begin building your space ! We make sure to update you with progress, changes and any possible conflicts.
Our contract price is all inclusive with no hidden fees or additional charges. Any changes to our agreed scope of work and/or contractual value are disussed with homeowners. Any changes require a change order to prevent unexpected changes in cost.
